What is the au pair program?

The Au Pair program helps youth to live an international experience with native families. Au pair is a foreign person aged between 18 and 30 years old whose objective is to learn new languages, discover new cultures and visit countries. They want to have an experience abroad.

What is a host family?

A host family is the family where the au pair is going to live with. You welcome a boy or a girl for the length of their stay. In return, they help you with childcare and some light household chores, he or she provides you with real support on a daily basis. Our role is to help you find the best au pair according to your needs. Find out the conditions to welcome an au pair.

Why should I hire an au pair?

The au pair lives with you (between 2 months and 1 year) and becomes a full member of the family, a big brother or sister for your children. You can make a trust relationship with the au pair by living with him/her. The youth can share his/her culture to your kids, teach them a new language, etc. It is a great experience for both the family and the au pair. Find out who our au pairs are.

Welcoming an au pair with BUTRFLY is simple and reassuring, thanks to criteria that youth have to validated to be certified by our team members.
