How much does it cost to host an AuPair?

Welcoming an au pair means that he or she must be housed, fed and taken care of for the duration of his or her stay.

He or she also receives pocket money of about 90€ per week in exchange for childcare time. The host family provides a means of transport (vehicle or transport card) and also takes care of the insurance of the au pair (health / car if he drives).

For a stay of more than 3 months, there are also URSSAF contributions to pay if you live in France (about 200€/month).
